Founded in 2016 in Tbilisi, Kvartali FC began as a grassroots football initiative driven by local enthusiasts, aiming to establish a safe and inclusive urban football platform for diverse social groups. Recognised for its work in youth development, women’s football, and volunteer-driven foundations, the club received the UEFA Grassroots Award in 2025.
Since 2020, Kvartali FC has fielded a women’s senior side in the top division of the Georgian Women’s Football League, achieving silver in 2022 and 2024 and bronze in 2023, with players regularly involved in national squads. The men’s senior team competes in Tbilisi’s amateur top division, while the academy launched in 2022 now supports boys and girls across age groups with pathways from grassroots to elite.
